Scientists, engineers, and educators can embark on a major initiative to participate to the education outreach of the LSBB.
This former buried nuclear military base, in the Hills of Luberon in Provence, is being evolved constantly into a state-of-the-art laboratory to investigate geologic processes, have a better understanding of the threats linked to the water ressources of the Mediterranean aquifers, listen to the earth briefing, unlock mysteries of the universe, and be of use of private sector.
Central to this effort are goals of increasing public understanding and helping to prepare the next generation of scientists and engineers.
