LSBB introduction on Daily Motion (french)

Laboratory labelled by CNRS-INSU

The LSBB may be considered as a :

• Multidiciplinary Laboratory, hosting research programs mixing academical and industrial teams 
• Multidisciplinary Observatory, producing continuously datas, accessible to all
• Specific geological structure, in a major karstic system
• Testing facilities hub, taking advantage of the exceptionnal low noise environment
• Place promoting regional, national and international partnership

The LSBB is linked by MoU to the Earth Science Division of the University of Berkeley and to the University of British Columbia at Vancouver.

It used to be the hardened underground site of the terrestrial Nuclear French Force.
